How Credits Work

Credits are Promptha's universal currency for AI operations. Different operations cost different amounts based on:

• Model complexity - Advanced models cost more
• Input size - Longer inputs = more credits
• Output type - Images and video cost more than text

Model Costs

Text Models

• Claude Sonnet - 1 credit per 1K tokens
• GPT-4o - 2 credits per 1K tokens
• Gemini Flash - 0.5 credits per 1K tokens
• DeepSeek - 0.3 credits per 1K tokens

Image Models

• FLUX Pro - 10 credits per image
• Ideogram v3 - 8 credits per image
• SDXL - 5 credits per image

Video Models

• Sora - 50 credits per video
• Kling - 30 credits per video

Optimizing Credit Usage

1. Choose the Right Model

Not every task needs the most powerful model. For simple tasks:

• Use Gemini Flash or DeepSeek for basic text
• Use FLUX Schnell for quick image drafts

2. Optimize Prompts

Shorter, focused prompts use fewer input credits. Be specific but concise.

3. Use Caching

Repeated operations with the same inputs use cached results (no credits).

4. Batch Wisely

Processing items in batches is more efficient than one at a time.

Tracking Usage

View your credit usage in Dashboard > Settings > Usage:

• Daily/weekly/monthly breakdowns
• Usage by model and operation type
• Cost projections

• Upgrade your plan for more monthly credits
• Top up with one-time credit purchases
• Earn credits by sharing fabrics (creators get 70% of credits spent)
