Fabrics are the building blocks of Promptha. They're specialized AI tools with defined inputs and outputs.

What Makes a Good Fabric?

A good fabric:

• Solves a specific problem
• Has clear, typed inputs
• Produces consistent, useful outputs

Step 1: Define Your Goal

Before building, ask yourself:

• What task does this fabric perform?
• What information does it need (inputs)?
• What should it produce (outputs)?

Step 2: Create the Fabric

1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click "Create Fabric"
3. Give it a name and description
4. Define your input fields
5. Write the AI prompt
6. Configure the output type

Step 3: Test and Iterate

Run your fabric with sample inputs. Refine the prompt until you get consistent, high-quality outputs.

Example: Blog Intro Generator

Inputs:

• Topic (text)
• Tone (select: professional, casual, humorous)
• Target audience (text)
